Loving Freely or Freely F**king??

Hello Loves!!
As you all know, I'm fairly new to my openly polyamorous life so what I'm sharing with you are lessons that I have learned during my poly journey.
Early on when I first came out as bisexual and openly poly, people just assumed that my open marriage means that my husband and I are gonna sleep with every woman we meet. Living a poly life doesn't mean every day is a big fuck fest. In fact, being poly and OPP (One Penis Policy) makes us scrutinize our potential women more closely. Because we both love freely, we always protect ourselves and our partners. LOVE is an emotion you shouldn't play with. If all we wanted was just sex, we would be swingers but we're not looking for a sexual partner. We want a woman we can grow and build a life with, supporting each other's talents to make us all better. There are some people in the poly community posing as poly while they figure out how (and IF) they fit in the lifestyle.
Simply having “bisexual” on my dating profile has introduced me to people that assume I'm/we're into BDSM and swinging. Some are into Relationship Anarchy and Solo Poly where they just do things their own way as long as THEY are satisfied. Personally, I am not ready to label my poly as I'm still learning all there is to know. I know I want a girlfriend for Hubby and me. I know I want a Lady for myself that doesn't have to be with Hubby but she can be if he and she so choose. I don't want to be restricted and I don't want to restrict my Loves. How can I be poly if I'm directing everyone on how to love each other?
