When asked why do [some] black people
view money as "evil" in a
forum topic in the Blacktopia
Facebook group during #MoneyMonday,
Blacktopian Sylvia Mann
had this to say........
"1 - Church teachings/Jesus. Too many black people quote scriptures to justify an aversion to money.2 - Ignorance - Too many black people are unwilling to admit they don't understand money/finance. It involves math, understanding news stories, and actually doing some work. Better to repeat old and untrue financial myths than to do any real thinking. Financial ignorance is not bliss."
